The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore is set to commence registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, or GATE 2024, on August 24, 2023. The institute has opened the test website – gate2024.iisc.ac.in – and the exam, according to the information shown, will commence on February 3. The exam schedule is also published in full.
According to IISc, a new paper in GATE – Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) – would be added in 2024.
The examination will take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The morning shift will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by the afternoon shift from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The GATE exam assesses students’ knowledge in engineering, technology, science, architecture, and humanities undergraduate topics.
The GATE score can be used to get admission and financial aid for master’s and doctoral degrees in Engineering, Architecture, Technology, and Humanities.
