7000 village service cooperative societies will be computerized, what will be the benefit to the farmers?

The Rajasthan government has decided to do the computation of all the village service cooperative societies of the state.

This will bring transparency in the working of the committees.

Shreya Guha, Principal Secretary, Cooperation Department, said that computerization of more than 7 thousand village service cooperative societies of the state would be done.

Out of these 1298 have been selected this year.

The process of computerization will be done after selecting the rest of the committees within three years.

She was addressing the Managing Directors of Central Cooperative Banks at the 50th High Level Task Force meeting of NABARD at Apex Bank.

Guha directed that all the Central Cooperative Banks should complete the process of selection of PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies)

at the earliest so that the work of computerization can be completed. He instructed that

after completing the meeting of the District Collector level this month, send the information about the selection of packs.
