Hero MotoCorp lines up multiple bike, scooter launches

Hero MotoCorp plans an aggressive new product offensive for FY2024, with launches in commuter, executive, and premium segments.

The company will introduce one product every quarter and is focusing on the 100cc and 110cc segments where it is the market leader.

Hero MotoCorp is witnessing growth across entry, deluxe, and 125cc models, as well as the premium segment and scooters.

The company expects to see the largest number of launches in its history this fiscal year, with all key indicators trending upward.

Hero MotoCorp's partner Harley-Davidson plans to launch a 400cc-plus motorcycle this year, with service and parts requirements to be taken care of by Hero.

The company is also eyeing the premium segment by upgrading its Xtec variants and introducing the 450cc Hero Xpulse and a bigger capacity Xoom.

Hero MotoCorp has expanded its Splendor line in anticipation of the ongoing wedding season.

The company has introduced the HF Deluxe at the entry-level with added features like tubeless tyres and a USB charger to capture the urban and semi-urban markets.

Special attention has been given to the executive 125cc segment, where the company has improved its market share to 22 percent from 14 percent earlier.

Hero MotoCorp has accelerated its plan to expand its Vida electric scooter to 100 more cities by the end of this calendar year.
