Joshuah Bledsoe is ruled out for the game and Adrian Phillips is travelling with the Patriots

In anticipation of Sunday's highly anticipated game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New England

Patriots are flying out and are hoping to see safety Adrian Phillips back on the field.

The veteran defensive back is travelling with the club despite having a rib ailment,

so there is a good chance he will suit up and participate in the game.

He is still listed on the injury report, so it will probably be a game-time decision. To hold Pittsburgh's receivers in check,

the Patriots will need all the support they can get from the back end of the defence. While Phillips travelled,

second-year safety Joshuah Bledsoe is reportedly out due to a groyne issue, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.

Since 1998, neither Tom Brady nor Ben Roethlisberger have started a game between the Patriots and Steelers. This will be

their first meeting since that time. This time, it's anticipated that the game would focus more on defence than offensive.
