After the police stated that they were looking into an allegation of bullets being fired at the school,
the University of Oklahoma stated that there is no threat to the campus.
Officials had advised anyone on the campus to take cover, according to the Associated Press.
Around 9:30 p.m., campus police were notified of a shooting and advised nearby residents to stay away, according to the report.
No instant confirmation that shots had been fired, though, was available.
There have been no reported injuries.
At the Van Vleet Oval, there is a shooter who is still active.
