First Look Of House of the Dragon Season 2 Teaser

Season 2 of House of the Dragon: HBO debuted the first teaser for the highly anticipated Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon, on Saturday at the CCXP

Westeros is at war. House of the Dragon’s second season will continue to chronicle the Targaryen family and their quest for supremacy in Westeros

The teaser, which lasted more than a minute, showed Alicent Hightower saying, “Many will die, and the victor will eventually ascend the throne.”

The series began in 2022 with King Viserys I’s coronation, after which he named his eldest child, Rhaenyra Targaryen, as his formal successor.

Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower,  Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velarion, Eve Best as Rhaenys Targaryen, Fabien Frankel as Ser Criston Cole, Ewan Mitchell as Aemond Targaryen

Tom Glynn-Carney as Aegon Targaryen, Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria, and Rhys Ifans as Ser Otto Hightower will return.

Season 2 of House of the Dragon will contain eight episodes rather than ten, and according to new showrunner Ryan Condal, the series will be more slower this time around

HBO CEO Casey Bloys said in November that season 2 of the fantasy drama series would broadcast in ‘early summer’ 2024.
