The man charged in Tupac Shakur’s 1996 shooting death has long put himself at the crime scene. Here’s what we know about him

In 1998, Duane Keith Davis, also known as "Keffe D," claimed on a cable channel that he was a front-seat passenger in a car involved in Tupac Shakur's fatal shooting.

In 2009, Davis confessed to his involvement in the case to police, but this information couldn't be immediately utilized by authorities.

Following a renewed investigation, Davis, aged 60, was arrested in Las Vegas in 2023 and subsequently indicted by a grand jury for murder with the use of a deadly weapon.

The arrest occurred nearly 27 years after Tupac Shakur was fatally shot while leaving a Las Vegas Strip boxing match.

Davis confessed to his involvement in the case to police in 2009, but law enforcement couldn't immediately act on this information.

Following an intensified investigation, Davis, aged 60, was arrested in Las Vegas in 2023, with a grand jury indicting him on charges of murder with a deadly weapon.
