Former Presld.Do:lald Trump has not provided proof he declassified FBI-seized materials from his Florida

resort, the Justice Department asserted to a federal appeals court.

"Plaintiff.claims he could have declassified documents before leaving office. As previously, Plaintiff

fails to prove he took that action "The former Republican

president sued the Justice Department after the FBI searched

his Florida home and country club, the department's lawyers stated late Tuesday.

"If the government presents me prima facie proof that this is classified and you don't claim declassification, that's it,” Dearie said

"You can't have everything" Federal prosecutors said the appeals court that Trump's lawyers refused Dearie's request.

Trump has claimed, without proof, that he declassified the documents. His attorneys haven't claimed this in any court documents.
