The Lamidanda region of Nepal’s Jajarkot district was struck by a 6.4 magnitude earthquake. At about 11.30 p.m., tremors were reported in numerous north Indian cities, including the Delhi-NCR area.
The earthquake happened at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS). It happened in latitude 28.84 N and longitude 82.19 E. Strong earthquakes have rocked Nepal three times in the last month.

The epicenter of the earthquake, according to Nepal’s National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Center, occurred near Jajarkot, roughly 250 miles northeast of Kathmandu.
According to authorities, at least 128 people have died and 140 have been wounded.
