Volkswagen India has introduced the Volkswagen Taigun Trail edition, which is priced at Rs 16.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The unique edition vehicle, which comes with 11 different features and Trail-inspired design elements, is only available for booking online as part of the GT Edge Limited Collection.
The Volkswagen Taigun Trail version has Trail-inspired body side graphics, black roof foil, a Trail insignia on the back, black door garnish, black OVRMs with red highlights, and black Belmont alloy wheels. It is available in three exterior colors: Candy White, Reflex Silver, and Carbon Steel Grey.
Trail-themed seat coverings, puddle lighting, and sporty foot pedals are included within the cabin. The Taigun Trail version has a dashcam with two cameras and a 5.08cm IPS LCD screen. The dashcam has the following capabilities.
140-degree ultra-wide viewing angle (front lens)
Loop recording
Impact sensor
Motion detection
Parking monitoring
6 IR lights provide low-light recording capability.
Automatic recording with engine start
Picture capture and playback
The 1.5-litre TSI EVO engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission in the Volkswagen Taigun Trail version. This gasoline engine produces 150PS of maximum power and 250Nm of peak torque.
