Thane, April 27 A 50-year-old man from Murbad in Thane district who came to the Maharashtra Bhushan award ceremony on Thursday died, according to sources.
The person, named Ravindra Deshmukh, died at a hospital in Mumbai, on Wednesday they added.
More than a dozen individuals perished from heat stroke during the award ceremony in Navi Mumbai’s Kharghar district on April 16.

Sandeep Awari, the Murbad tehsildar (revenue officer), acknowledged that Desmukh had attended the award ceremony.
According to the official, he felt unwell two days after the occurrence, therefore it cannot be inferred that he died of heat stroke.
