I couldn’t believe an out-of-work photo earned me a job. He is an absolute genius. “I knew I only had 15 days to shoot, and I was mute on top of that!” he continues.
Animal, in addition to making a lot of money, has split viewers. One portion adored it, but the other was critical of numerous issues, one of which being toxic masculinity. Certain moments have surprised viewers. Deol responds, “I am an actor who wants to play characters.” I’m not there to promote anything. I take on roles that stretch me. What exactly is storytelling? What is going on in our society has an impact on stories. People just don’t want to talk about those things because they want to think they don’t exist. I’m just an actor out to amuse. People are adoring it, as seen by the box office collections.”
