If you’re appearing for the exam, this isn’t just another document — it’s your entry pass to the test centre. No admit card, no exam. It’s that simple.

The CTET 2026 exam will be held on February 7 and February 8 across 140 cities nationwide, with two shifts covering Paper I and Paper II.

Here’s a clear, no-confusion guide to help you download your admit card and avoid last-minute stress.

How to download CTET Admit Card 2026

The process is quick and takes barely a minute if your login details are ready.

    • Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in
    • Click on the “CTET February 2026 Admit Card” link on the homepage
    • Enter your application number and date of birth
    • Submit the details
    • Your hall ticket will appear on screen
    • Download it and take a clear printout

Tip: Save a soft copy on your phone as backup, but always carry a printed copy to the centre.

    Details you must check carefully

Don’t just download and forget. Spend two minutes checking everything. A small mistake can create big trouble on exam day.

Make sure these details are correct:
    • Your name and parents’ names spelling
    • Photograph and signature clarity
    • Paper applied for (Paper I or II or both)
    • Exam date and shift
    • Exam city and full centre address

If anything looks off — even slightly — contact the CTET Unit immediately for correction. Waiting till the last day is risky.

    Reporting time: Don’t be late

This is where many candidates mess up every year. Gates close strictly, and late entry isn’t allowed.

CBSE has clearly fixed reporting timings:

Paper II (Morning shift): Report by 7:30 am
Paper I (Evening shift): Report by 12:30 pm

    Entry closes at:
    • 9:30 am for Paper II
    • 2:30 pm for Paper I

Even a few minutes late means you won’t be allowed inside. Plan travel accordingly, especially if your centre is in another city.

    Why the admit card matters

Apart from entry, the admit card also works as your official identity during the exam. Carry:
    • Printed admit card
    • Valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)

Without both, you may be denied entry.

    Exam at a glance

CTET is one of India’s largest teacher eligibility tests and is mandatory for candidates seeking teaching jobs in central government schools like KVs, NVs and other institutions. With thousands of seats and intense competition, every detail — including reporting time and documents — counts.

So once the link goes live, download early, verify everything, and keep your documents ready. One less thing to worry about on exam day.
