    Key development: Correction window timeline

As per the official public notice dated January 28, 2026, the CUET PG 2026 correction window is open from January 28, 2026 (10:00 AM) to January 30, 2026 (11:50 PM).
NTA has clarified that this is a one-time facility and no requests for changes will be entertained after the deadline.

    Context and background

CUET PG is a national-level entrance exam for postgraduate admissions across multiple universities in India. Given the scale of applications, NTA provides a short correction window each year to help candidates fix genuine mistakes made during form submission.

    Editable and non-editable fields

Candidates can edit only selected fields in the application form. Some changes may attract an additional fee.

    Fields allowed for correction

    • Personal details: Candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category, PwBD status
    • Exam preferences: Examination city, additional city choices, test paper code, subject or course
    • Identity details: Aadhaar number (for candidates who initially used other ID proofs)

    Fields that cannot be changed

    • Mobile number
    • Email ID
    • Permanent and present address
    • Photograph and signature

    Fee and payment rules

If a correction results in an increase in application fee, candidates must pay the difference online using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
No refund will be issued if the number of test papers is reduced. Once the correction is submitted, the application form is frozen permanently.

How to edit the CUET PG 2026 application form

    • Visit the official website: https://exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/
    • Log in using your application number and password
    • Review all personal and exam-related details carefully

Impact: What this means for candidates

This correction window is crucial for candidates who noticed errors in personal details or exam preferences. Even small mistakes can cause issues during admit card verification or counselling, so applicants are advised to double-check everything before final submission.

    What’s next

After the correction window closes on January 30, NTA will move to the next phase of the CUET PG 2026 process, including admit card release and exam scheduling. Candidates should regularly check the official website for updates.
