PM Modi Diwali Job Fest: In June of this year, PM Modi instructed various government departments and ministries to hire 10 lakh employees over the course of the following 18 months in “mission mode.”
In order to hire 10 lakh people, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start a massive “Rozgar Mela” on October 22 via video conference. 75,000 hopefuls will receive recruitment letters at the ceremony, the PM’s Office announced on Thursday.
According to the PM’s Office, this represents a significant advancement in the fulfillment of the prime minister’s ongoing commitment to guaranteeing the welfare of residents and giving young people access to employment opportunities.
The change occurs while the BJP-led administration is under continual attack by the opposition for its handling of the unemployment crisis. The Bharatiya Janata Party, which is in power, has refuted claims made by opposition parties that there aren’t enough job possibilities available (BJP).

The campaign will also aid the BJP in fending off the opposition in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, two states where elections are imminent.
PM Modi requested various government departments and ministries to hire 10 lakh individuals in a “mission mode” over the course of the following 18 months in June of this year.
The instruction from PM Modi came after an assessment of the status of human resources in all government departments and ministries, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a statement on Thursday.
The 38 ministries or departments of the Indian government will welcome the new hires, who were chose from around the nation. Group A and B (Gazetted), Group B (Non-Gazetted), and Group C appointees will join the government at various levels.
The central armed forces personnel, sub-inspectors, constables, LDC, steno, PA, income tax inspectors, and MTS are among the positions for which appointments are being made, it read.
Ministries and departments conduct these hirings either on their own or through staffing firms like UPSC, SSC, and the Railway Recruitment Board. According to the PM’s Office, selection procedures have been streamlined and made tech-enabled to facilitate quick recruitment.
