According to Sinha, Bhansali created a dream-like world in “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.”
“We didn’t want to leave his world since it was so beautiful and captivating. It was a completely new experience for us as actors. The message from working with him was that irrespective of how wonderful you think you are, he will always get more out of you,” she said.
Chadha, who previously collaborated with Bhansali on “Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela” (2013), appreciated the filmmaker’s attention to detail.
“… Nothing can be done halfheartedly (when working with Bhansali). You must put your heart and soul into everything, including conversation delivery, acting, dancing, and music. He also keeps a watch on any extras standing behind. Working with him is an absolute pleasure. “We all improved as actors after working on this show,” she remarked.
“I think his work commitment is unparalleled,” said Koirala, who collaborated with Bhansali on his directorial debut, “Khamoshi: The Musical” in 1996.
