There is no restriction on the number of attempts, provided candidates meet the prescribed age criteria.

Selection Process Explained
The selection will be carried out in three stages—Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview.
Candidates shortlisted in the prelims (up to 15 times the total vacancies) will be eligible for the mains. The final merit list will be prepared based on marks secured in the main exam and interview.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
To move ahead to the interview stage, candidates must secure:
- 40% – General category
- 36.5% – Backward Class (BC)
- 34% – Extremely Backward Class (EBC)
The interview will carry 100 marks, with no minimum qualifying score.
Limited Posts in Certain Services
Some departments have very few openings this year:
- District Samadeshta (Home): 2 posts
- Probation Officer (Home): 4 posts
- Assistant Director (Women & Child Development): 3 posts
- Assistant Registrar (Agriculture & Cooperatives): 2 posts

Reservation Details
There is no horizontal reservation for sportspersons or tribal categories this year. However:
- Two posts are reserved for women (Deputy Collector and DSP)
