Kangana responded to Sandeep’s statements by tweeting, “Review and criticism are not the same thing; every type of work should be evaluated and debated; this is natural. The way Sandeep ji showed respect for me by smiling at my evaluation suggests that he not only crafts macho films, but also has a manly mindset. Thank you, sir.”

In the article, she also mentioned working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, saying, “But please don’t ever give me any role, otherwise your alpha male heroes will become feminist and your films will be beaten, you make blockbusters, the film industry needs you.”

Sandeep originally stated of Kangana in the interview, “If I get an opportunity and believe she will fit in, I will go and relate the story. I actually like her performance in Queen and many other flicks. So it does not bother me if she makes a nasty comment about Animal. I do not become furious because I have seen her work. “I do not feel bad.”

Kangana earlier criticized Animal in a post on X. She described the audience flocking to theaters to see ‘women beating flicks’ as ‘discouraging.’

Reposting a fan’s tweet, she said, “Paid hate for my films is overwhelming; I have been battling hard thus far, but even viewers are pushing women to beat films in which they are treated as sex objects and made to lick shoes. This is profoundly depressing for someone who has dedicated her life to woman empowerment films, may change careers in the next years, and wants to devote the finest years of her life to something worthy.” Her letter also addressed the performance of her picture Tejas, which bombed at the box office and earned mixed reviews.
