New Delhi:
Kisan Diwas, or National Farmers’ Day, is observed across India to recognise the backbone of the country’s economy—its farmers. This year, Kisan Diwas 2025 is centred around the theme “Viksit Bharat 2047 – The Role of FPOs in Globalising Indian Agriculture.” The focus is clear: strengthen Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), use modern technology, and make Indian agriculture globally competitive.
Here’s a clear, no-nonsense look at 10 major government schemes every farmer should know about.
