Lindsay Lohan Irish Wish is the latest rom-com (romantic-comedy) movie on Netflix. The movie is slightly superior than the actress’s “Falling For Christmas” from last year. Lindsay Lohan plays Maddie, a Manhattan book editor, since nothing plays in a romantic comedy like a stressed-out New York woman in publishing.
Story At a Glance
In the film, Maddie (Lindsay) has a crush on her author client and collaborator, Irishman Paul Kennedy (Alexander Vlahos). He is the guy whose first novel she helped shape; the strong good suggestion is that she pretty much rewrote the book. Still, she is nuts about him and wants him to love her back. Instead, he falls for one of Maddie Kelly’s closest friends, the sweet but bland Emma (Elizabeth Tan). The two then quickly gets engaged.
Paul and Emma’s wedding will be held in Ireland by Paul’s family. This is where the huge, pristine country house comes in, so Maddie and her pals jump across that large body of water so adorably known as “the pond” for the nuptials.
Maddie Kelly still has a touch and feelings for Irishman Paul, though she knows she should not. So when a charming, wish-accepting mythical being turns out to be Saint Brigid, played by Dawn Bradfield, springs out of nowhere and offers to grant Maddie Kelly a wish, Kelly expresses her suppressed dream that she would be the one to marry Paul.
Lindsay Lohan Irish Wish Worth Watching?
Janeen Damian directed the movie “Irish Wish”, starring Lindsay Lohan as a lovelorn book editor during a trip to Ireland. She granted one fateful wish; it is exactly what you would expect it to be. A lightweight dream fulfillment fantasy set against a sigh-inducing landscape of dramatic cliffs and tranquil, emerald-tone rolling hills.
There’s also an old-school family estate home thrown in, the kind of million-room mansion that always looks so pristine and elegant in the movies. These familiar elements are not more accountability but selling points, especially in the interest of romances on Netflix, which is what Irish Wish is made. Still, the biggest draw of movies, for good reasons, and it could be some unsavory ones, is surely Lindsay Lohan. She is who has in recent years retransformed herself as a romantic comedy heroine. The Irish Wish is premiering on Netflix on March 15.
