Mahindra is gearing up to give its blockbuster SUV a mid-life refresh. Fresh spy shots of the Mahindra & Mahindra Scorpio N facelift reveal subtle exterior updates and a noticeably upgraded cabin, with the launch expected in the coming months. Introduced in 2022, the Scorpio N is now due for its first major update aimed at keeping it competitive in a fast-evolving SUV segment.
Familiar Shape, Minor Exterior Updates
Up front, the facelifted Scorpio N gets a revised grille with horizontal slats and a tweaked air dam. The headlamps and fog lamps look unchanged, suggesting Mahindra is playing it safe with the design. From the side, the SUV retains its muscular silhouette but adds a new set of alloy wheels. The rear remains camouflaged for now, though minor bumper revisions are expected.

Bigger Screens, Tech-Focused Cabin
The biggest changes are inside. The facelift introduces a new free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the current 8-inch unit. This setup is expected to be borrowed from the Thar Roxx. To make room for the larger screen, Mahindra has reworked the centre console, repositioning the AC vents vertically while retaining physical HVAC controls and the aircraft-style toggle switches.
Digital Cluster, Panoramic Sunroof Likely
Another key upgrade is a fully digital instrument cluster, again likely shared with the Thar Roxx. Spy images also hint at the addition of a panoramic sunroof—something buyers have been asking for. Despite these updates, the overall cabin theme and upholstery appear unchanged, preserving the Scorpio N’s rugged, no-nonsense character.

Engines and Hardware Stay the Same
Mechanically, the Scorpio N facelift sticks with the tried-and-tested 2.2-litre mHawk diesel and 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engines. Transmission options will continue to include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The diesel variant will retain its proper 4WD setup. While the powertrains remain untouched, minor suspension tuning could be part of the facelift to improve ride comfort.
What to Expect Next
With visible testing underway, the Scorpio N facelift is edging closer to launch. Expect Mahindra to focus on tech and comfort upgrades rather than drastic styling changes—an approach that should appeal to existing fans while attracting new buyers.
