Mahindra has given its popular SUV a serious refresh. The facelifted XUV700 has now been reintroduced as the Mahindra XUV 7XO, and it’s clear the brand wants to make a strong statement in the mid-size SUV space. Priced from ₹13.66 lakh (ex-showroom), the XUV 7XO doesn’t just rely on looks or engine options—it doubles down on technology and safety, even at the base level.
Bookings and test drives open from January 8, with deliveries of higher variants starting January 14. Entry-level trims will roll out later, from April 2025. What really stands out, though, is the long list of features Mahindra has decided to make standard across all variants.
Here’s a closer look at the top eight features you get no matter which XUV 7XO you choose.

Coast-to-Coast Triple Screen Setup
Mahindra has gone all-in on screens. Every XUV 7XO comes with three 31.24cm HD displays laid out in a single, panoramic panel. The setup includes the digital instrument cluster, infotainment screen, and a co-passenger display. The result is a cabin that feels modern, tech-heavy, and far more premium than you’d expect at this price point.
ADRENOX+ Connected Tech
The XUV 7XO ships with Mahindra’s ADRENOX+ Connect system as standard. It packs 93 connected features, covering everything from remote vehicle controls to safety alerts and infotainment functions. The interface is clean, intuitive, and designed to keep the car seamlessly connected to your digital life.
Alexa Built-in With ChatGPT Integration
This is one of the more interesting upgrades. Alexa comes built-in across all trims, paired with ChatGPT integration. Beyond basic voice commands, the system can handle conversational queries, answer general questions, and even help pass time during traffic jams. It’s a small touch, but one that genuinely makes the cabin feel smarter and more interactive.
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
No cables, no fuss. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard across the range, letting you jump straight into navigation, music, calls, and apps the moment you start the car. It’s one of those features you quickly get used to—and miss when it’s not there.
Cruise Control
Cruise control is no longer reserved for higher trims. Mahindra offers it as standard on every XUV 7XO, making long highway drives more relaxed and reducing fatigue. For frequent road trippers, this is a genuinely useful addition.
Six Airbags With Third-Row Curtain Coverage
Safety is a big focus here. All variants get six airbags as standard, including curtain airbags that extend all the way to the third row. It’s a reassuring move, especially for families, and positions the XUV 7XO strongly against rivals in terms of occupant protection.
Push Button Start/Stop
A small but welcome convenience feature, push-button start/stop is standard across the lineup. It adds to the premium feel of the cabin and makes daily driving just a little bit easier.
Bi-LED Projector Headlamps With DRLs
Every XUV 7XO comes equipped with Bi-LED projector headlamps and integrated daytime running lights. Apart from looking sharp, they offer better illumination and visibility, especially during night drives and highway runs.

Where the XUV 7XO Stands in the Segment
With these features available across all trims, the XUV 7XO clearly aims to offer strong value right from the base variant. It takes on established rivals like the Tata Safari and the MG Hector, while also stepping into territory usually dominated by more premium SUVs.
By making tech-heavy and safety-focused features standard, Mahindra & Mahindra seems intent on raising expectations in the segment. For buyers, that means fewer compromises—and less pressure to stretch budgets just to get the essentials.
