In October, homegrown automaker Mahindra & Mahindra recorded its highest-ever SUV volume in the domestic market for the fourth straight month.
SUVs from Mahindra include the Scorpio-N, Scorpio Classic, XUV700, XUV300, Thar, Bolero, and Bolero Neo.
Mahindra sold 43,708 SUVs in October, a 36% increase over the 32,226 cars sold in the same month previous year.

Mahindra’s SUV volume in July was 36,205 units, a record for the firm at the time. In August, the firm beat its own record with 37,270 units, and then again in September with 41,267 units.
According to Nakra, the company’s SUV capacity would expand to 49,000 units in the fourth quarter of the current fiscal year (FY24).
