Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara has finally landed on OTT, giving the action-packed entertainer a second life after its lukewarm theatrical run. The film, which hit cinemas on October 31, is now streaming on Netflix from November 28, 2025, allowing fans and first-time viewers to catch it at home.
A Surprise OTT Drop After a Mixed Box Office Run
The movie arrived in theatres with a fair bit of buzz thanks to Ravi Teja’s mass appeal and Netflix reportedly purchasing the digital rights even before the release. That early bet signaled strong interest from the OTT side.

But despite the hype, Mass Jathara struggled commercially, earning only around ₹17.45 crore against an estimated ₹50–70 crore budget. The OTT release, however, has sparked new conversations online as viewers revisit the film with fresh expectations.\
What the Film Is About
At the heart of Mass Jathara is Laxman Bheri, played by Ravi Teja—a fierce, no-nonsense railway sub-inspector from Warangal. His routine life takes a sharp turn when he’s transferred to Adivivaram, a region infamous for running one of the biggest marijuana smuggling networks in the area.
The story kicks into gear when Laxman intercepts a major drug consignment headed to Kolkata, accidentally triggering a violent turf war with a powerful syndicate led by KG Reddy (Naveen Chandra).
Sreeleela plays Tulsi, Laxman’s love interest, adding lighter emotional moments in an otherwise gritty action setup. As expected from a Ravi Teja film, viewers get a mix of high-voltage fights, loud confrontations, and energetic mass scenes, built for audiences who enjoy full-blown commercial cinema.
