What’s Mirai all about?
Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, Mirai blends Indian mythology with modern superhero storytelling. The story follows a reluctant young man who discovers a mystical staff—a divine weapon that awakens only when destiny calls. From there, it’s a visually packed, emotional ride exploring the timeless battle between good and evil.
Teja Sajja takes the lead, while Manchu Manoj plays a menacing villain, making for a gripping hero-vs-villain showdown.
Big names, bigger action
The supporting cast includes Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Ritika Nayak, Jayaram, and Getup Srinu—each adding weight to the narrative. What really stood out for audiences was the VFX-heavy action sequences and Gowra Hari’s music, which set the tone perfectly for a myth-meets-superhero universe.
Like his earlier blockbuster HanuMan, Teja Sajja once again proved that Indian superhero cinema has a strong audience base.
