Bhojpuri actress Monalisa has opened up about the long-discussed tensions between Pawan Singh and Akshara Singh, revealing that their personal disputes sometimes created an uneasy environment on film sets. In a recent candid conversation, the actress said that while she tried to stay away from the drama, the frequent arguments occasionally disrupted shooting schedules.
The actor shared these insights during an interview with YouTuber and podcaster Siddharth Kannan, offering a rare glimpse into what it was like working around the reported friction between the two Bhojpuri stars.

“The Atmosphere Wasn’t Always Good”
Speaking about her experience, Monalisa said she always approached work professionally and tried not to get involved in the personal issues of co-stars.
“I don’t know exactly what used to happen between them. They were mostly involved in their own matters or arguments. But yes, the atmosphere wasn’t always good on set,” she said during the interview.
The actress added that she consciously avoided asking questions or getting drawn into the situation.
“I never asked what happened and never tried to poke my nose into it,” she explained.
Waiting Outside During Arguments
Monalisa also acknowledged that there were times when disagreements between the two actors would happen away from the camera, often inside vanity vans or backstage areas. During such moments, the rest of the team, including her, sometimes had to wait until things settled down.
When asked if she had experienced situations where she was left waiting outside while arguments happened inside, the actress agreed but clarified that she preferred to remain detached from such situations.
Fights Sometimes Delayed Shoots
According to Monalisa, the conflicts did occasionally affect the shooting schedule. She mentioned that she had worked with the duo on only one project, but even then, the tension between them was noticeable.
While the arguments didn’t happen directly in front of her, she admitted that they sometimes caused delays.
“There were moments when I was just sitting on the set waiting,” she said, indicating that the production timeline could be impacted.

Staying Away from Industry Gossip
Despite witnessing some of the tension, Monalisa maintained that she prefers to stay focused on her work rather than engage in gossip or conflicts.
“These things affect me, but I like to stay in my own world. I don’t enjoy gossip and I don’t involve myself in such matters,” she said.
