A famous Japanese camera manufacturer, Nikon buys Red Camera. Red Digital Camera a US-based company known for making high-end digital cinema cameras. With this move, RED became a fully-owned subsidiary of Nikon Wings.
Nikon announces in the blog that they entered an agreement to acquire 100% of the outstanding membership interests of RED.com. This will make RED a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nikon.
