The incident occurred late Monday night. According to reports, Pawan Singh’s house in New Maruti Nagar, Ara, was broken into while his in-laws were asleep in the next room. The thieves entered the house by breaking a window, rummaged through the place, and stole valuables.
It was only in the morning, when Pawan’s in-laws noticed the broken window and a locked door, that they realized a robbery had taken place.

- ₹15,000 in cash
- 30 bullets from a licensed rifle

The thieves reportedly used a gas cutter or sharp tools to break the window and sneak inside. Pawan Singh’s in-laws, who were present at the time, didn’t hear a thing as they were sleeping in the adjacent room.
