What if the Lok Sabha invaders failed to arrive earlier this week? According to India Today, Lalit Jha, the chief conspirator of the Parliament security breach, confessed that they prepared a ‘Plan B’ in case their first plan failed.Â
During the police inquiry, Jha revealed that if Neelam and Amol were unable to access Parliament as planned, the two others, Mahesh and Kailash, would have entered from another way to raise chants and light color bombs.Â

However, Amol and Neelam were told to carry out the plan at whatever cost because Mahesh and Kailash had not arrived at Vishal Sharma aka Vicky’s residence in Gurugram, where they were staying. And the organization was effective in carrying out Plan A.Â
According to the plan, Mahesh was meant to assist Lalit Jha in hiding in Rajasthan following the crime. He also used his own Identity Card to make lodging arrangements for Lalit at a guest home.Â
According to sources, Mahesh, Lalit, and Kailash were constantly watching television in the guest home to learn about the Parliament security breach. Later that day, Lalit and Mahesh surrendered to authorities.Â
The security breach in Parliament was methodically prepared for months before it was carried out on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack.Â
During Zero Hour on December 13, two persons, Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, leaped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery. The two wasted little time in releasing yellow gas from canisters and yelling anti-establishment chants before being overcome by the MPs.
In another occasion, two demonstrators, Neelam (42) and Anmol (25), began protesting outside the Parliament with identical gas canisters at the same time. On Thursday, all four persons were taken into the custody of the Delhi Police Special Cell for seven days.
Lalit Jha was probed by top police officers on Thursday night, including two Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCP) and two Additional Commissioners of Police. During the interrogation, he recounted the entire scenario.
During the interview, Jha acknowledged to months of preparing the parliament security breach. Obtaining an admission pass in the Parliament was one of the primary challenges throughout the preparation process.Â
