Rahul Gandhi Portfolio: The Congress leader, listed assets in his electoral affidavit on Thursday valued at more than Rs 20 crore.
Gandhi has movable assets of Rs 9,24,59,264, according to the statement he filed with the Election Commission of India (ECI). Of those assets, mutual funds and equities account for about 90% of the total value, or Rs 8,16,94,091.

The Wayanad-born Congress MP, 53, is a shareholder in 25 listed businesses, from well-known blue-chip corporations to potential smallcap companies. The total market value of his stock holdings as of March 15, 2024, was more than Rs 4.33 crore.
Gandhi is the largest shareholder (4,068) in Suprajit Engineering, a smallcap business with a market valuation of more than Rs 16.65 lakh as of March 15. But as of April 4, it had risen to more than Rs 17 lakh.
The stock, which has increased by more than 20% in a year, was trading at Rs 420.40 per share on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) at 2:26 pm.
ITC and ICICI Bank were two of his other top holdings in terms of volume. Gandhi has 2,299 shares in ICICI Bank valued at Rs 24.83 lakh and 3,093 shares in ITC valued at Rs 12.96 lakh. As of March 15, both market values are given.
Gandhi’s most prominent position in terms of market value was his 1,474 Pidilite Industries equities, valued at Rs 42.27 lakh as of March 15. Other notable ones were:
- Titan Company (Rs 32.58 lakh).
- Nestle India (Rs 35.67 lakh).
- Bajaj Finance (Rs 35.89 lakh).
- Asian Paints (Rs 35.29 lakh).
Alkyl Amines, Deepak Nitrite, Divi’s Laboratories, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Britannia Industries are other stocks in his portfolio.
Investments In Mutual Funds
Rahul Gandhi owns assets in seven mutual funds, including small- and mid-cap, totaling Rs 3.81 crore.
His most significant investment was in the Rs 1.23 crore market-valued HDFC Small Cap Regular (Growth) fund, followed by the Rs 1.02 crore market-valued ICICI Prudential Regular Savings Fund. According to data, the HDFC Small Cap regular (growth) scheme’s Net Asset Value (NAV) increased by 51.85% over the previous year.
Gandhi also owns interests of Rs 79 lakh in the HDFC Hybrid Debt Fund (G). His investments in ICICI Prudential Equity & Debt Fund Growth, HDFC Mid-Cap Opportunities Fund – Direct Plan, and Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund (Direct Plan) total more than Rs 19 lakh each. He has also invested Rs 17 lakh in the HDFC Smallcap direct plan (growth).
In addition, he has made investments in sovereign gold bonds. As of March 15, he possessed 220 Sovereign Gold Bond 2020–21 units valued at Rs 15.21 lakh.
As of March 15, Rahul Gandhi’s Public Provident Fund balance, which includes equities and mutual funds, was Rs 61.52 lakh.
His real estate holdings are estimated to be worth Rs 11.15 crore. He also disclosed having Rs. 55,000 in cash and Rs. 26.25 lakh in total balance between his two bank accounts.
