As per the notice issued by the Railway Recruitment Board, here’s how the schedule shapes up:
- CBT 1 Exam Dates: February 16, 17 and 18, 2026
- Exam City Intimation Slip: From February 6, 2026
- Admit Card (E-Call Letter): From February 12, 2026
- SC/ST Travel Authority: From February 6, 2026
The exam city slip and travel authority will go live 10 days before a candidate’s actual exam date, while admit cards will be available four days prior to the exam.
What the RRB Notice Says
Clarifying the timeline, the RRB stated that the link for viewing the exam city and date — along with downloading the travel authority for SC/ST candidates — will be activated 10 days before the exam. The e-call letters will follow about four days before the scheduled test.
Candidates are advised to regularly check their respective regional RRB websites to avoid last-minute confusion.
Aadhaar Verification Mandatory
RRBs have also reminded candidates to ensure that their Aadhaar is unlocked in the Unique Identification Authority of India system. Aadhaar-based verification will be used at exam centres to ensure smooth entry and registration on the exam day.
Failing to unlock Aadhaar in advance could lead to unnecessary delays at the venue.
Exam Pattern at a Glance
The RRB ALP CBT 1 is an objective-type test featuring:
- 75 questions
- 75 marks
- Duration: 60 minutes
The paper will test candidates across four sections focused on basic aptitude, reasoning, mathematics and general awareness.

What Comes After CBT 1?
