Singh stated that the appointment letters for selected applicants would be accessible online in a few days and that they will begin duty on June 1.
“Some of the selected candidates will be ceremonially handed their appointment letters by the Union Home Minister at a program here,” he said.
He stated that the Board’s recruitment effort for around 300 positions could not be filled owing to a shortage of qualified candidates.
He stated that applicants failed to achieve physical criteria in the majority of the 309 open positions for which the recruitment campaign was conducted.
“I urge those interested in applying to focus on physical fitness as well,” the senior officer stated.
The results of several ministries’ recruitment efforts have been released in recent days, as the Himanta Biswa Sarma-led government approaches one lakh government job figures before of its second-anniversary celebration on May 11.
Approximately 50,000 appointment letters will be presented at the event, which will be addressed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, to secure nearly one lakh jobs as promised by Sarma prior of the 2021 state Assembly election.
