In a first-of-its-kind move, the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) will send Intermediate Examination 2026 hall tickets directly to the registered WhatsApp numbers of parents, aiming to make the exam process more transparent and student-friendly.
The decision is expected to reduce last-minute confusion, ensure parents stay informed, and help students verify exam details well ahead of time.

What’s New in the WhatsApp Hall Tickets
For second-year Intermediate students, the preview hall ticket will now carry more detailed academic information. Along with the full exam schedule, it will also mention first-year marks, details of failed subjects (if any), and other essential particulars.
Both Intermediate First Year and Second Year students can access the preview hall ticket online by entering their Roll Number and Date of Birth. The document allows students to check critical details such as name, photograph, group, medium, and subject combinations.
Students Asked to Verify Details Carefully
The board has advised students and parents to cross-check all information on the preview hall ticket as soon as it is received. If there are errors in the name, photo, group, or subjects, students should immediately approach their college principal, the District Intermediate Education Officer (DIEO), or the district nodal officer to get corrections done before exams begin.
