Like most hit films, Thamma is expected to arrive on OTT roughly 45–60 days after its theatrical release. As per media reports, the film is likely to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 16 December.

Prime Video had already acquired the digital rights before the theatrical release, so its online premiere is expected to stay on schedule. Story and cast of Thamma

Directed by Munja fame Aditya Sarpotdar, the film follows Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok, a Delhi-based journalist who accidentally stumbles into a mysterious world of vampires. Here, he meets Taadka (Rashmika Mandanna), and soon crosses paths with a terrifying vampire played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Paresh Rawal and Panchayat actor Faisal Malik also appear in key roles.

Box office performance

Thamma performed impressively in theatres. As per Bollywood Hungama, the film collected around ₹121 crore at the domestic box office, while its worldwide gross crossed ₹165 crore. The blend of humor, horror, and strong performances helped the film stay steady at the ticket window.
