UP Fire Lucknow
On Monday morning, a large fire started at a hotel in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, the fire has cost the lives of at least 4 persons. According to sources close to India TV, the Civil Hospital in Lucknow pronounced both of them dead. In addition, the hospital has treated 7 patients.
CM Yogi Visits The Hospital
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, reportedly met with individuals who were hurt and are being treated at the Civil Hospital. He recognised the situation and gave the go-ahead for officials to treat those hurt in the fire as soon as possible. Also, it has been directed to the DM and senior police officers to visit the scene quickly and monitor the relief and rescue efforts.
Evacuation In Process
There are currently efforts being made to evacuate guests who are stuck inside the Levana Hotel in Hazratganj after fire crews arrived there. 18 persons have been evacuated thus far.
Lucknow DM says, a short circuit might have started the fire. “The fire’s cause is being examined. 35 to 40 people were present in the 18 occupied rooms out of the 30 rooms. The individuals who got trapped were rescued and also transported to the Civil Hospital “He informed the press.
According to officials, about a dozen patients were transported quickly to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee hospital.

Rajnath Singh, a mp from Lucknow and the defense minister said is aware of the incident. My office is in close contact with the local government. I also pray to God for a quick recovery to victims in the incident, Singh stated.
Dy CM Says This
According to the deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak, a probe into the event has been ordered, and those found responsible would face harsh punishment. The injured will get medical care absolutely free of cost, the minister stressed.
The Commissioner of Lucknow Division and the Police Commissioner of Lucknow also will now jointly investigate this, according to Director (Information) Shishir Singh.
