    Vivo is all set to bring its flagship X300 lineup to India on December 2, and the buzz is already picking up. The series includes the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro—two premium phones loaded with Zeiss-tuned cameras, a powerful new 3nm MediaTek chipset, and some seriously impressive telephoto tech. The brand has also hinted at a fresh Red colour option exclusively for India.

    Launch date, time, and what to expect

    The launch will take place on December 2 at 12 PM IST. Vivo hasn’t clarified whether it will host a full-fledged event or opt for a soft online launch, but if there is a live stream, it will likely be available on Vivo’s YouTube channel and across its social platforms.

    Apart from the devices, Vivo is teasing the arrival of its Telephoto Extender Kit in India. This accessory uses Zeiss 2.35x teleconverter lenses and works with Vivo’s Teleconverter Mode. It also comes with NFC support, allowing the phone to automatically detect the lens for quick setup—great news for photography enthusiasts.

    Performance powered by MediaTek’s latest 3nm chip

    Both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro will ship with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500, built on an advanced 3nm process. The phones also include the Pro Imaging VS1 chip and V3+ Imaging Chip, which together enhance low-light photography, colour accuracy, and video performance.

    The devices run on Android 16 with OriginOS 6, promising smoother animations, improved multitasking, and deeper AI-powered optimizations.

    The X300 Pro goes all-in on camera hardware. Its triple camera setup includes:

    • 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor (f/1.57)
    • 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens (f/2.0)
    • 200MP HPB APO telephoto lens (f/2.67)

    On the front, there’s a 50MP Samsung JN1 selfie camera, ensuring high-quality shots even in challenging light.

    Vivo X300: A photography powerhouse in its own right

    The standard X300 also packs a serious camera setup:

    • 200MP HPB main camera (f/1.68, OIS)
    • 50MP Sony LYT-602 telephoto lens (f/2.57, OIS)
    • 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide

    The selfie camera remains the same as the Pro model—a 50MP Samsung JN1.
