MS Dhoni, the most successful captain in of IPL has stepped down from leader of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). And Ruturaj Gaikwad become his successor for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Thursday.

In TATA IPL 2024, Chennai Super King will feature Ruturaj Gaikwad (as acaptain). Followed by MS Dhoni, Moeen Ali, Deepak Chahar, Devon Conway, Tushar Deshpande, Shivam Dube, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Ravindra Jadeja, Ajay Mandal. Why Ruturaj Gaikwad Become CSK Captain?
CSK referred to Rituraj as a “integral part” of the team and wished the young opening batter the best of luck in the upcoming 17th edition of the world’s most lucrative T20 league.
According to the team’s website, MSD has handed over the Chennai Super Kings captaincy to Rituraj Gaikwad ahead of the start of the TATA IPL 2024. Ruturaj has been a key member of the Chennai Super Kings since 2019, appearing in 52 IPL matches during that time.
About Gaikwad: Rituraj Gaikwad, has played six ODIs and 19 T20s for India, and made his CSK debut in 2020 and has since played 52 games for the five-time IPL champions. Last year, he had a memorable run, scoring 590 runs in 16 games at an impressive strike rate of 147.50.
