The countdown to the next season of India’s biggest women’s T20 league has officially begun. The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 schedule is out, with the tournament set to run from January 9 to February 5, featuring top Indian and international stars across two venues — Navi Mumbai and Vadodara.
The full fixtures were announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday, confirming dates for league matches, playoffs, and the final.

Opening match and venues confirmed
The tounament will kick off on January 9 in Navi Mumbai, where Mumbai Indians will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the opening clash. The league will be played in two legs:
- Navi Mumbai: January 9 to January 17 (11 matches)
- Vadodara: January 18 to February 5 (11 matches, including playoffs)
This two-city format mirrors the league’s recent seasons, ensuring smoother logistics and consistent matchday schedules.
League stage, Eliminator and Final dates
League matches will continue until February 1, after which the playoffs begin.
- Eliminator: February 3
(Between teams finishing second and third on the points table) - Final: February 5, 2026

The title clash will be played under lights in Vadodara, where the next TATA WPL champion will be crowned.
