India Yamaha Motor has announced special anniversary prices for its popular R15 range as part of Yamaha’s 70th global anniversary celebrations. The limited-period offer brings a flat ₹5,000 price reduction across all R15 variants, making the entry-level supersport motorcycle more accessible for buyers. The revised prices are effective from January 5.
With the benefit applied, the Yamaha R15 range now starts at ₹1,50,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The move is aimed at attracting young riders and first-time performance bike buyers who want sporty styling and modern features without stretching their budget too far.

Revised Yamaha R15 Prices (Ex-showroom, Delhi)
Under the anniversary programme, the R15 lineup is now positioned more competitively across its three variants. The R15 S, which serves as the entry point, is priced at ₹1,50,700, making it the most affordable way to get into Yamaha’s supersport family.
The mid-spec R15 V4 now costs ₹1,66,200 and offers additional electronic aids and premium hardware. Sitting at the top is the R15 M, priced at ₹1,81,100, aimed at enthusiasts looking for a more track-focused experience.
Yamaha has clarified that the offer is available for a limited time and the final benefit may vary slightly depending on dealer-level schemes and local availability.
Strong Legacy and Proven Performance
Since its launch, the Yamaha R15 has built a strong reputation in India for its sharp, race-inspired design, reliable performance and impressive fuel efficiency. Its popularity is reflected in production numbers, with over one million units manufactured in the country so far.
Powering the R15 range is a 155cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that uses Yamaha’s DiASil cylinder technology. The engine delivers 18.4 PS of power at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The R15 continues to be one of the most feature-rich motorcycles in its segment.
