Apple Generative AI Gemini Update In Short:-
- Apple in talks to let Google’s Gemini power iPhone AI features.
- Both the companies are “in active negotiations” for Gemini to power some new features coming to the iPhone software this year.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurnman, Apple and Google are looking to team up on its next new project that maximize the Gemini AI power for iPhone users. We can expect this Gemini Generative AI features and iPhone combination by the end of this year on iPhone.
This partnership is going to be an potential transformation for the Google’s Gemini chatbot. Apple already working on bringing a number of AI features for its upcoming iOS 18 OS based on its own AI models. Gurnman from Bloomberg says, “These enhancements will focus on features that run on its devices rather than those delivered from the cloud.”

This Apple and Google partnership will result in powerful generative AI features, like generating images and writing essays based on a single text prompt. However news also says, “Apple is already testing its large language model – Ajax. Many Apple employees seems to have the testing access to chatbot called Apple GPT”.
Gurnman report also talks about: Google and Apple ongoing negotiation but the final agreement is yet to announce (which is expected in June in Worldwide Developers Conference).
