According to reports, the newly built airport in Ayodhya would be titled ‘Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhyadham’. Valmiki is credited with writing the epic Ramayana. The airport, which was formerly known as the ‘Maryada Purshottam Shri Ram Ayodhya International Airport,’ will now be known as the Valmiki International Airport after the great poet.
