8 Major Exit Polls Predict Strong NDA Lead
Eight key poll agencies — including Chanakya Strategies, Matrize, People’s Insight, and P-Marq — show the NDA winning 147 to 167 seats.
The Mahagathbandhan, led by RJD and Congress, is projected to get 70 to 90 seats, while other parties may bag between 2 and 10 seats.
The Matrize-IANS Exit Poll suggests the NDA could capture 48% of the vote share, compared to 37% for the Mahagathbandhan and 15% for others, indicating a clear advantage for the ruling alliance.

Almost all agencies have limited JSP’s tally to 0–2 seats, signaling that the strategist-turned-politician’s much-hyped entry has not resonated with voters.
Key Election Themes: Development vs. Unemployment
The Bihar campaign saw intense political battles. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah repeatedly framed the contest as “Development vs. Jungle Raj.”
Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav focused his campaign on jobs, inflation, and welfare promises, including a pledge of one government job per family and ₹30,000 financial aid for women.
