BJP Candidate List 2024: 51 from UP, 20 from Bengal…

Bharatiya Janta Party announced BJP Candidate List 2024. Total of 195 candidates are selected for the upcoming Lok Sabha. The Election Commission will announce the poll schedule in a few weeks.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulates all the nominated candidates of BJP. He added – our Party announced the names of candidates for seats, and the rest will be announced soon in the upcoming days.

BJP replaced 33 MPs with new candidates in its first list. PM Modi to Chair Council of Minister meeting held on Sunday at 9:30 am at the Sushma Swaraj Bhawan.

Seats From Different States

Fifty-one seats declared from Uttar Pradesh, 20 seats from West Bengal, 24 seats from Madhya Pradesh, 15 from Gujarat and Rajasthan, 12 from Kerala, nine from Telangana, 11 seats from Assam, 11 seats each from Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, five from Delhi, two from Jammu and Kashmir, three from Uttarakhand, two from Arunachal Pradesh and one each from Tripura, Goa, Andaman & Nicobar and Daman & Diu.

BJP has a maximum number of MPs from Uttar Pradesh. Of the 11 candidates for Lok Sabha seats in Assam, six are sitting MPs, and the remaining five are new faces.

In 2019, the BJP secured 303 seats in the polls, and at that time, they held 290 seats in Lok Sabha and focused on securing more seats to obtain the upcoming election. This election, Narendra Modi, aimed to secure his position. The polls will be held between April and May.

Candidates From Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha

Name of candidates from the first list are: Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi, Hema Malini from Mathura, Ajay Mishra Teni from Kheri, Smriti Irani from Amethi, Lallo Singh from Faizabad (Ayodhya), Defence Minister Rajnath Singh from Lucknow and Mahendra Nath Pandey from Chandauli.

Further, Kripa Shankar Singh from Jaunpur, Ritesh Pandey from Ambedkarnagar, and Saket Mishra from Shrawasti. Hema Malini from Mathura is again seeking re-election, as she won two times in 2014 and 2019 from the BJP ticket. Rajnath Singh also seek a third time from Lucknow after winning the last two elections of 2014 and 2019.

Five women candidates’ names are in the list. This includes Hema Malini, Smriti Irani, Rekha Varma, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, and Neelam Sonkar.
