As 2025 begins, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has rolled out a value-packed New Year recharge plan aimed squarely at data-hungry users and OTT binge-watchers. Priced at just ₹251, the limited-period offer bundles high-speed data, voice calling and entertainment benefits in one go.
The plan was announced through BSNL’s official social media handle and will remain available till January 31, 2026, making it one of the longest-running promotional offers from the state-run telco in recent times.
What the ₹251 BSNL New Year Plan Offers
BSNL’s New Year recharge comes with 100GB of high-speed data valid for 30 days, along with unlimited voice calls across networks. The highlight, however, is the bundled entertainment access.

Subscribers also get access to BSNL BiTV, which includes over 400 live TV channels and 23 entertainment apps, covering movies, shows and live content. Popular platforms such as JioHotstar and SonyLIV are part of the package, making the plan particularly attractive for families and frequent streamers.
Other BSNL Plans Get Data Boost
Alongside the New Year offer, BSNL has quietly upgraded data benefits on several existing recharge packs. The ₹225 plan now provides 3GB of data per day, while the ₹347 and ₹485 packs offer 2.5GB daily data.
For long-term users, the ₹2,399 plan continues to deliver 2.5GB per day with extended validity, along with unlimited calling and daily SMS benefits. These plans remain available across urban and rural circles, reinforcing BSNL’s push to stay competitive on value rather than speed alone.
How and Where to Recharge
The New Year offer can be availed through the BSNL Selfcare app, official website, or authorised recharge platforms. Since it’s a limited-period scheme, users looking for bulk data and bundled entertainment may want to act before the window closes.
