Randeep Hooda is the latest celebrity to be invited to the opening of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. The actor received a personal invitation on Monday, one day after his co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt did.

On Monday, Dhanush, a National Award-winning Tamil actor, was personally invited to the Ram Mandir inauguration. Earlier in the day, the official X (previously Twitter) feed of news agency ANI posted a photo of Randeep getting an official invitation to the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Pran Pratistha function. Randeep wore a basic brown T-shirt and grinned for the camera when he received the invitation.
On Sunday, Ranbir and his wife Alia met with Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS, Ajay Mudpe, Prant Prachar Pramukh of RSS Konkan, and producer Mahaveer Jain. They were handed bouquets and invites to the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Pran Pratistha event. Earlier, Dhanush’s father-in-law and renowned actor Rajinikanth was invited to the event.

On January 22, around one lakh worshipers are expected in Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir’s ‘pran pratishtha’, which will be visited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra general secretary Champat Rai, the Ram temple complex, built in the ancient Nagara architecture, is 380 feet in length (east-west), 250 feet in breadth, and 161 feet in height. Each floor of the temple is 20 feet high, with 392 pillars and 44 gates.
Dhanush is preparing for the debut of his action adventure thriller Captain Miller, which is set to open in theaters on Friday, January 12, in honor of Pongal.
Randeep, who is preparing to play independence warrior Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in the film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, launched the Swatantraveer Savarkar Mukti Shatabdi Yatra from Pune’s Yerwada Central Jail last week. On January 6, 1924, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was freed from prison.
Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, directed and co-written by Randeep and Utkarsh Naithani, is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Randeep Hooda Films, in association with Legend Studios and Avak Films. Ankita Lokhande, best known for her role in Pavitra Rishta, will star alongside Randeep.
