On Sunday, a magnitude 3.1 earthquake rattled the Delhi-NCR region. On October 3, the national capital area experienced severe earthquake vibrations.
Delhi and the National Capital Region saw powerful earthquakes, only days after comparable severe jolts were detected on October 3. The magnitude of Sunday’s earthquake, which rattled Delhi and surrounding areas, was assessed to be 3.1 and happened around 4.08 p.m. The earthquake struck Haryana’s Faridabad at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the National Centre for Seismology. The quake’s epicenter was nine kilometers east of Faridabad and 30 kilometers southeast of Delhi. There were not any reports of injuries or damage.
On Sunday, the National Centre for Seismology tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.1, took place on 15-10-2023, 16:08:16 IST, Lat: 28.41 & Long: 77.41, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 9km E of Faridabad, Haryana.”
