Hardik Pandya, India’s all-rounder, has sent an emotional message to Team India ahead of their ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup final against Australia. On Sunday, November 19, the Men in Blue will meet Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Pandya took to social media platform Instagram to express his pride in this squad, stating that they are only one step away from triumph. Pandya fractured his ankle early in the World Cup while bowling against Bangladesh and was later ruled out for the remainder of the competition.

“I couldn’t be more proud of this group. Everything we’ve accomplished thus far is a result of years of hard labor. “We’re one step closer to honor, to doing something special that we’ve desired to do since we were kids,” he said.
He then urged the players to carry the trophy home not just for themselves, but for a billion Indians. Following his injury, Pandya was replaced in India’s 15-man World Cup 2023 roster by Prasidh Krishna.
“Lifting the cup not just for ourselves, but for the billion people who support us.” My love and all my heart will always be with you. Let’s take the cup home now. “Jai Hind,” Pandya concluded.
The final will be played between India, the hosts, and Australia, the five-time champions. The Men in Blue are on a 10-match winning streak in the event, having won the league stage with an unbeaten record before defeating New Zealand by 70 runs in the semi-final at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
The Australians finished third in their group, winning seven and losing two games. Following losses to India and South Africa, Australia embarked on a seven-match winning streak in the league stage.
They then defeated South Africa by three wickets in the semi-finals at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens to secure a place in the 2023 World Cup final.
