On Saturday, Tabu will turn 52 years old. Tabu is 52 years old and no longer needs to play the supporting role of a mother to the male hero. In Drishyam 2, she was viewed as an adversary who would go to any length to avenge her son’s murder, and in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, she portrayed two characters that were vastly different from each other.
Tabu is also no damsel in distress in her personal life, as she is blissfully single with a large network of friends and family members. Tabu stated that it would be unjust to herself if she had given up everything – her acting profession and her desire to travel the world – for a guy.
Relationship and marriage taboos
“Your happiness comes from many things unrelated to the status of your relationship,” she told HT Brunch, emphasizing that “single” was not a terrible term. You can manage with your loneliness on your own, but with the wrong partner, the consequences might be worse than any form of loneliness.”
Tabu was always open to falling in love and marrying, but it never worked out. In a 2019 interview, she remarked on relationships and not settling for marriage, “A man-woman relationship is a complicated thing.” We have an idea of love when we are young. Then we mature, get new experiences, become self-sufficient, and outgrow some things. I was employed and wanted to travel on my own. It would have been a disservice to myself and my talent if I had given it all up. A perfect relationship is one in which both people grow just by being in one other’s lives. Relationships are supposed to be free, not suffocate. I’m aware that my thinking is rather unique. For example, I’ve never considered men and women to be different in a relationship. Tabu’s thoughts on parenthood
Tabu has previously stated that she considered having a kid out of wedlock, but her pragmatic and rational side kept her quiet. “No one can stop me from having a child out of wedlock.” But I don’t want to purposefully deprive the child of both parents from the start,” she told Filmfare.
Tabu will next be featured in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and The Crew, both starring Kriti Sanon and Kareena Kapoor. She most recently appeared in the Netflix feature Khufiya.
