During the Hero World 2024 event, Hero MotoCorp unveiled the Xtreme 125R commuter motorbike, adding a new model to the popular sector. The Hero Xtreme 125R, priced at 95,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), targets the upper tier of the 125 cc commuter market, directly competing with the TVS Raider 125. The Xtreme 125R deviates greatly from Hero’s traditional commuter models, with an extremely trendy look that sets it apart from anything previously produced by the brand.
In terms of style, the Hero Xtreme 125R has crisp and distinctive styling, emphasized by a unique front headlight design that gives the motorbike a distinguished look. The sleek headlamp sits low and features LED turn indicators on both sides, as well as what seem to be Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the upper portion.Â

The bike has a sleek appearance, with a crisply built fuel tank and side shrouds that give the Xtreme 125R a strong feel. Split seats and split grab rails complement this approach, adding to the overall athletic look.
The Hero Xtreme 125R is powered by a newly launched 125 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 11.39 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and comes with a 5-speed transmission. The front suspension comprises of 37 mm telescopic forks, while the rear includes a Showa monoshock.Â
A single front disc provides braking capacity, while the rear can be fitted with a drum brake or a disc brake, depending on the type. Standard features include single-channel ABS, with a dual-channel ABS model priced at ₹99,500 ex-showroom.
The Hero Xtreme 125R comes fitted with a computerized console with an LCD panel that displays a variety of information. This fashionable commuter motorbike will soon be available at dealerships, with bookings beginning shortly. In addition to the Xtreme 125R, Hero MotoCorp unveiled the Mavrick 440, Xoom 125R, and Xoom 160 at Hero World 2024.
