Infinix Smart 8 Plus, the awaited and budget-friendly phone launched on 1st March 2024.
Infinix launched a new budget smartphone in India on Friday, 1st March. The phone comes with unique features like a Magic Ring, an AI deal, and a rear camera. It also has a 6000mAh battery and an Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
Infinix Smart 8 Plus is available with Android 13 Go Edition and also joins other Smart 8 series models, which were launched in India previously.
Infinix Smart 8 Plus Availability and Price In India
Smart 8 Plus is available in Galaxy White, Shiny Gold, and Timber Black shades colours, is priced at Rs. 7,999 for 4GB+ 128GB.
However, the effective price is around Rs 6,999 with bank offers. This price will be during the sale and available for purchase via Flipkart, which starts on 9th March 2024.
Infinix Smart 8 Plus Specifications and Features
Display
Smart 8 Plus comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also offers a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and the peak brightness level is 500 nits.
OS, RAM and Processor
It is available with Android 13 Go Edition based on XOS 13. The MediaTek Helio G36 SoC paired processor is used with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Virtual expandable RAM is upto 4GB, while external expandable storage via microSD card is upto 2TB.
Camera
For Photography, the Smart 8 Plus comes with a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary camera paired with a backed sensor along with a quad LED ring Flash. On the front side is an 8MP selfie camera with a centre punch-hole on the top of the screen.
Infinix Smart 8 Plus also supports Infinix’s Magic Ring. It is a pill-shaped animated bar, the same as Dynamic Island, showing notifications and other things.
Fingerprint Sensor, Battery, and Others
The battery of the Smart 8 Plus is 6000mah, and it comes with an 18W wired Type-C fast charging port. Side-mounted fingerprint sensor available for security.
In India, it comes with support of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type C connectivity. The size of the handset is 163.6mm x 75.6mm x 8.5mm, and the weight is around 189g.
